When you create an innovation product, it has no sell out or sell in data. But the Simulation module of eCOS Assort allows you to manage these cases in different ways:
Integrate dummy data via the import menu
The import menu allows you to import sell out data (at the store or at the circuit) and/or fictitious sell in data. This data is only used for simulation (and is not visible elsewhere in the application).
To do this, before exporting the Excel file or importing it, select “Dummy”:

You can thus import fictitious volume, value and DV Panel (for sell out) or DV Acc (for sell in) data on innovation products.
Use the reference product
In a product sheet, you indicate a reference product for a product. For example, in your innovation product, indicate that another product is the reference product.
In the item sheet, in the “Details” section, click on “Add a reference product”, then on “For simulation” in the pop-up. Select your product, then click on “OK” before saving the item sheet:

In the simulation, your innovation product, which has no data, will take into account the data of the reference product.
Using editable columns
In the Simulation module, you have the possibility to edit directly in the table the sales volume, sales value, DV Panel and DV Acc.
To do this, display the columns by clicking on the button in the header of a column, then in the second tab add the columns you want:

Change the values you want, then click “Save and Refresh” to restart the simulation with the news you have integrated.
