The "Product" menu allows you to manage advertising and promotional products (material, merch, animation and rent).

The screen shows the different means and the associated process, as well as the number of products attached to the different means.
The filter allows you to search for a product via its reference or its label.

After clicking on a method, the list of associated products is displayed:

The list of columns is customizable (hide/show columns, column order, sorting or filters) just like in the reports, and is saved automatically.

Click on the product label, reference or ID to open the product sheet.

Create a product

After selecting a method, click the button

Fill in the required fields: the label, the reference (if the ProductAutoGeneration option is not activated), the category (only for the Material process), whether the product can be ordered or not, indicate to which types of delivery locations the product is linked, and link the product to a logistician or a service provider.

Restrictions

Allows you to restrict the product to classifications, organizations or roles.

Order Restrictions

Allows you to restrict the product to roles.

Logistics (Material)

Allows you to enter logistical information on the product (dimensions, PCB, imputation code, etc.).
"Stock Reserve" is a stock that is reserved for roles that have the corresponding permission. Roles that do not have this permission cannot order quantities from this stock reserve.

In the list of logisticians, indicate to which logistician the product is linked.
Replenishment allows you to place orders on incoming stock. If replenishment is checked, a quantity (expected quantity) and a date (= expected date of receipt) are mandatory.
The replenishment threshold sends an email to the product manager when the stock reaches the threshold.

Order (merch, animation & rent)

Allows you to link the product to a service provider and enter order information (minimum, maximum quantity or days).

Publication

Allows you to indicate whether the product can be ordered during a campaign (the product must be linked in each campaign) or outside a campaign.
When the product is set up outside of a campaign, you can indicate a start and end date for publication. If the start date has not yet been reached, or if the end date has passed, the product will not be visible in the order's item catalog.

Validation

Allows the product to be submitted for validation according to rules.
If validation is enabled, you must select an organization level and roles. Users who are part of the selected organization level or higher organization levels, as well as users who are part of the selected organization level and who are attached to a role set up for validation, will be able to validate orders and receive emails and alerts.

It is possible to define a validation threshold:

  • No threshold: the order will be subject to mandatory validation;
  • Quantity: The order will be submitted for validation if the order quantity reaches the validation quantity or greater;
  • Value: The order will be submitted for validation if the order value reaches the validation value or higher.

Finally, the validation period corresponds to a number of days which are added to the calculation of the first possible delivery date, and which leave a few days for superiors to validate the order:

Allows you to suggest products to order when the user places an order for a product.

Documents

The Documents tab allows you to link documents to a product so that they are easily viewable by front office users. To do this, click on the . All you have to do is select files in the folder tree or click on “Select” to automatically add a document from your PC to the eCOS ® Doc folder and attach it to the campaign.

Contains additional and personalized information about a product.
For kits, the list of constituent products is displayed.
For Merch products, allows you to configure the related activities.

Duplicate a product

After selecting a method, the list of associated products is displayed. Click on in front of the product concerned to duplicate it.

Product publication

It is not possible to change the publication on campaign/off campaign, if the product is already associated with campaigns.

Deletion & current orders

If there are any orders in progress for the product, it is not possible to delete it.
But it is possible to automatically unpublish the product so that there are no new orders:
