Location types group together locations of the same type and with the same rules. There are 6 default delivery location types on eCOS ®:

• Address entered
• Store
• Residence
• ESR
• BOX
• Overnight stays
• Prospects

Create a delivery location type

Click on the icon
Enter a label (which will be visible in the rest of the application) and a reference (used for data imports and EDI).
If alerts are enabled, users will receive an email when Material orders associated with the delivery location type are shipped.

Role

You can restrict the type of delivery locations to one or more roles by moving them from left to right.

Place

After the first save, the tab lists the delivery locations attached to the location type.

Click on a location label to open the editing pop-up and modify it, or use the button create a new location that will be attached to the location type (except for stores).

For the "Stores" location type, the "Manage stores" button redirects to the Stores menu.

You can also select locations using the checkboxes, and delete them with the button

Wave

You can attach the delivery location type to one or more waves by moving them from left to right.

Locations

Allows you to manage the list of locations for the Event process.
Click on to create a new location.
Click on to edit the label of a location or on to delete it.

Featured

Allows you to manage the list of highlights for eCOS ® SFA.
Click on to create a new highlight.
Click on to edit the label of a highlight or on to delete it.

Sector contacts

Allows you to manage the list of contact sectors for eCOS ®.
Click on to create a new contact sector.
Click on to edit the label of a sector or on to delete it.

Promotional area

Allows you to manage the list of promotion areas for eCOS ® SFA.
Click on to create a new promotion zone.
Click on to edit the label of a promotion zone or on to delete it.

Edit a delivery location type

In the "Delivery location type" menu, simply click on the delivery location type to modify.

Click on to save the changes.

Delete a delivery location type

In the "Delivery Location Type" menu, simply click on the delivery location type you want to delete, then click , before confirming the deletion.

Validation of type changes

As part of lead management, users can change the location type of a lead to another type if you enable the permission. You can then enable a validation workflow and set it up using the button

You must then select an organization level and roles. Users who are part of the selected organization level or higher organization levels, as well as users who are part of the selected organization level and who are attached to a role set for validation, will be able to validate location type changes and receive emails and alerts.
