Modify an order

It is possible to modify an animation, merch or rent order if you are within the modification deadline, i.e. X days (modification deadline of the service provider) before the service date, and if the order has not been transmitted to the service provider.

It is not possible to modify a direct or Material order.

If the service provider's modification deadline is 5 days, it is possible to modify the order up to 5 days before the service date.

To modify an order, go to the “Order tracking” menu, then click on an order number to open the detail pop-up. In the action buttons, click on “Modify”. It is then possible to modify the comment, the attachments as well as the store contact (and the graphic design in the context of a rent order ):

Cancel an order

It is possible to cancel a direct or Material order as long as it has not been transmitted to the logistician. Once transmitted, it is no longer possible to cancel the order in eCOS ®.

It is possible to cancel an animation, merch or rent order if you are within the cancellation deadline, i.e. X days (service provider cancellation deadline) before the service date.

If the service provider's cancellation period is 5 days, it is possible to cancel the order up to 5 days before the service date.

To cancel an order, go to the “Order Tracking” menu, then click on an order number to open the detail pop-up. In the action buttons, click “Cancel”. The quota that had been consumed for this order is then returned to the creator or person responsible for the order.

Cancellation of an order after the deadline

If late order cancellation is enabled, it is possible to cancel an order late, but the quota is not returned to the creator or person responsible for the order.

If the cancellation period of the service provider is 5 days, it is possible to cancel the order up to 5 days before the service date, with the quota being returned to the creator or person responsible for the order. Within 5 days before the service date, it is also possible to cancel the order, but the quota is not returned to the creator or person responsible .

To cancel an order after the deadline, go to the “Order tracking” menu, then click on an order number to open the detail pop-up. In the action buttons, click on “Cancel” (which is then red), and confirm your choice in the pop-up:

The quota that was consumed for this order is not returned to the creator or person responsible for the order.

In the “Resource Order” menu of the back office, it is possible to analyze which orders were canceled outside the deadline using the “Canceled outside the deadline?” column.

Cancel and replace an order

Cancel and replace allows you to create a new order #2 from order #1, automatically canceling order #1 (only for animation, merch and rent process).

Cancel and replace an order with a grouping ID

The “Cancel and Replace” button is not available for LACs that have a grouping ID (concerns animation requests on coupled and consecutive days, as well as all rent LACs).

To cancel and replace an order, go to the “Order Tracking” menu, then click on an order number to open the detail pop-up. In the action buttons, click “Cancel and Replace”.
The original order is then duplicated in the shopping cart. Once all information is entered and the order is generated, the original order is automatically cancelled.

In the “Order Tracking” menu, it is then indicated that the new order comes from a cancel and replace of another order:
