Associate documents with an item record

Right to associate documents

To be able to associate documents with an item record, the user must have a role associated with the DOCBO application.

To associate documents with a product sheet, open the product sheet, then go to edit mode by clicking on .

In the "Associated files" box on the right under "Visual identity" and "Priorities", click on . A pop-up opens:

The eCOS ® Doc folder and file hierarchy is displayed. Documents that are already linked to the article are checked.

To attach an existing document to an item record, select the document using the check box, then click "Save".

To attach a new document that is not yet part of eCOS ® Doc, select the folder in which it will be downloaded, then click on "Select a file or drag and drop". Select the document in the Windows file browser. It is then automatically added to the eCOS ® Doc folder. Click on "Save" to finish associating the document to the item record.

Edit the documents associated with an item record

On the item sheet, in edit mode, the list of documents associated with an item sheet is displayed in the "Associated files" box:

Click on to associate documents. To remove the association of documents with an item record, click on (the document is linked only to this article sheet) or (the document is linked to several article sheets).

View documents associated with an item sheet

On the item sheet, in view mode, the list of documents associated with an item sheet is displayed in the "Associated files" box:
