The internal code switch allows you to change the internal code of a product automatically, on a given date. The product sheet remains the same as well as the attached referencing data, only the Current internal code field is modified.
Global internal switch codes
In the “Codification” block, when the current internal code is entered and a first save takes place, the “Future internal code” and “Future internal code date” fields appear:
To perform an internal code switch, fill in the “Future internal code” field, and the date on which the switch should take place in the “Future internal code date” field (by default, the switch date is D+1, and it is not possible to select an earlier date).
Current Internal Code vs Future Internal Code
If the future internal code entered is equal to the current internal code, an error message is displayed and saving will be impossible.
On the selected date, the future internal code automatically becomes the current internal code, and the current internal code becomes a past internal code. All internal codes linked to a product are logged in the "Codification" > Past internal codes block:

After creating an internal code switch on the product sheet, it is possible to shift the internal code switch date by brand:
In the “Contextual information” block, choose the “Sign” context, a sign and a period. Click on the edit mode icon 
. In the coding block, it is possible to choose the date of switching the internal code on the selected sign:
It is then possible to consult the internal code switches on the different brands of the same product by clicking on the button 
in view or edit mode of global fields:
